Ingredients:
- 1 can (16 oz) refried beans
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 tablespoon taco seasoning (or to taste)
- 1 ripe avocado (or 1 cup prepared guacamole)
- 1 cup salsa (choose your preferred heat level)
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup sliced black olives
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
Instructions:
- Prepare Layers: In a clear, shallow serving dish, spread the refried beans evenly as the bottom layer.
- Mix & Spread Sour Cream: In a small bowl, mix the sour cream with taco seasoning. Spread this over the refried beans.
- Add Guacamole: Next, gently spread the mashed avocado (or prepared guacamole) over the sour cream layer.
- Top with Salsa: Pour and evenly spread the salsa over the guacamole.
- Cheese It Up: Sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese as the next layer.
- Finish with Olives & Onions: Top the cheese with sliced black olives and finally sprinkle the chopped green onions over the entire dish.
- Chill & Serve: Refrigerate the dip for at least 30 minutes before serving with tortilla chips.
